How can I restore a backup?

In order to restore a backup, please go to your repositories list, click on a backup to open the panel for further details and click on the button “restore”.

In the restore dialog choose your GitHub account (user/organization), give the repository a name and click on “restore” once more. Make sure you don’t use a name that is already taken by another repository in your GitHub account. If you want to restore as a private repository, make sure you have enough free private repositories left on your GitHub account.

Restoring your repository back to GitHub may take a while depending on the size of your repository and the associated meta data. Usually it takes not more than 5 minutes.
